Potassium deficiency does cause cramps and water is very important. One other possible cause is if you don't stretch and you sleep on your stomach your feet only stretch one way and can cause cramps. Try stretching your legs and feet and put a pillow under your ankles.

This is a strange one, but I know people who swear it helps and others that say it didn't do a thing, Try putting a bar of soap under your bottom sheet.

Usually it is potassium deficiency. Try one banana a day to clear it up. If you don't like bananas, try orange juice.
