1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing.
IF you dont' pray every day for her, and she died, are you going to go through all those familar questions of Should I have, could I have, would I have? Your prayers can make a difference, and she needs them more than ever. Pray for your mother. She's the only one you've got. When she's gone, she's gone.

Do what is right for you. One of the most important lessons in any religion should be the one that man does not judge man. No one has the right. It is only bad if you think you should be praying and aren't for some other reason. Otherwise, just be there for your mom.

wouldn't you do anything for your Mom? I would for mine. I'm sure she would love to know you are praying for her. Praying is just talking to God, praising Him, telling Him your requests. It's easy. Read your New Testament part of the Bible, also Psalms and Proverbs. This will warm up your faith which has cooled.

You know what, we're all bad. We were born with the debt of sin on us. Only one way to get rid of that. Your mom is in God's hands, you can't change his mind. She'll be fine either way if she is a Christian. Do everything you can for her while she's sick, be a good son. Prayer won't hurt, either.

You're not a bad person. if u r, then everyone is. but as long as they address their sins to god, they will be forgiven..

As long as u go for your prayers, try to put her in prayers too, so the she'll recover soon. at the End of the day, she's still your one and only greatest mother in the whole world..

Life is short, just do whatever you can; at least for your dearest mommy...

You are the product of an incomplete brainwashing. I don't believe praying does anything except soothes a guilty conscience.

Praying for your mom would be a form of support. If that is not your belief system, that shouldn't be your form of supporting your mom. I'm sure you have other ways of showing your support. That is what is important.

Praying is mostly for your own comfort. Your prayers will be answered somewhat in relationship with your faith and then only as god See's fit.
