What type of MOS's are stationed there. I am looking at going into either 31B (Military Police) or 31E (Corrections Officer)

What I meant on my other question was. Garrison is the side of the post that supports the post. They have the people that welcomes you, the logistics teams "per say" the people that keep the installation running. Ill give you an example as MPs in garrison your mission is Law Enforcement. In my company we would do Law Enforcement to about 2 weeks out of 5 months. So it wasnt our main mission, we were just helping out. Our main mission would be to get ready for deployments. I believe the correct answer is: an Army Post is the actual military base, but an Army Garrison is the term that referrs to the actual body of troops that are stationed at a base. So, the Post is the location, and the Garrison is the troops.

dhills is right, for the most part.

An Army Post is a permanent Army installation, i.e. Fort Benning, GA is a Post.

Garrison refers to any unit currently stationed at a post, or a unit that is not deployed, i.e. The 25th Infantry Division is currently in Garrison, meaning they are at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.

Other than the words, post is a permanent station, garrison can be moved/relocated.
