That depends on who you ask. Christians appear to be terrified of anything possessing their soul... it gives them great excuses to do crazy things (and allow crazy things to be done to them).
Now, ask a non-Christian. She'll say no,uh-uh, hain't no such thang.

Yes. There is also demon oppression. Possession is when a demon takes over someone. A born again christian cannot be demon possessed because christian has the Holy Spirit that leads into all truth & is not a liar. The Holy Spirit is with & shall be in christian forever. Christians can be oppressed seriously, by believing the lies of the demons. To overcome demons, one must submit to God (pray & give attention to God), resist Satan & Satan will flee. If one has willfully disobeyed God, it's a little harder to get Satan or demons to flee. Even the smallest christian can stomp on spiritual wickedness, because our God is a big God.

Yes and i've heard way too many stories from honest people but one time i was watching a christian deliverance conference from Ivory Coast (north eastern Africa) where i'm from in Amercia on the television and this lady was getting delivered and as they were praying on her, i saw her forhead grow a wierd bump that seemed to move she was crying and some people were praying for her but the camera for some reason did not stay loong on her. (i am VERY convinced that it was NOT a hollywood special effect)
then on the same tape another lady was getting prayed over and she was crying and screaming "i don't want her to get bless, i don't want her to get bless" i don't quiet think she was as conscience to speak about herselve in 2nd person. There are times when an evil spirit would communicate through a human body during exocism.
So yes i a convinced man that they do exist. I've seen quite a bit not to.

When the Lord Jesus Christ was on the earth God was using angels and Satan was also using angels to deceive people and to posses them. Today in the age of Grace God is not using angels but people to get the gospel of His death, burial and resurrection to a lost and dying world. 1 Corinthians 15: 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 1 Corinthians 15: 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: Satan is not using angels but men to get his message out. They are preaching self righteousness and a false gospel that man can be saved by his works. 2 Corinthians 11: 14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 2 Corinthians 11: 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. There is no demon possession today.

It is real, but so many factors go against it being demonic possession its not funny. Its easy to say a demon made me do it.

I believe what we refer to as demons are really repressed hardships. The fact that going to church triggers a violent episode can be explained if the person experiencing it has a positive preconception about the church's ability to help.
In any case, carefull observation should be made to determine the trigger for any person's episodes. From there you have a chance to work your way up to a cause and a possible resolution.

Yes, in the past I have dealt with many people who were demon possessed. Also, I have cast out demons in the name of Jesus Christ.

I do. It's called schizophrenia. And it's plenty scary. Bone chilling! There's real demon possession too, but it's rare.

John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
Anyone who does not accept Jesus as their savior automatically belong to satan who is a demon, and are posessed by him.
