Eat right. Nutrition is important. Allow yourself only a serving of sweets a day, drink plenty of water [teach your body to get used to it; don't just suddenly start gulping down 8 glasses of it a day, start with four and work your way up], and eat those fruits and vegetables. Eating more fiber will also help. Eat five or six mini-meals a day. For instance, breakfast, then mid-morning snack, then lunch, then mid-afternoon snack, then dinner, then dessert.
NEVER skip a meal. Ever.
When exersizing, only go to your comfort level. Don't strain yourself. Stay at the level where you can have a conversation while doing it. Alternate days. One day, have a light exercize day, second day have a harder work out, third day do the light exersize again...you get the picture. If you're just starting, work your way up.

The best way to lose weight is to eat healthy and not eat a lot of junk food. Drink lots of water. Running is an excellent way to lose weight all over and to lose it quickly. But, running is bad on the joints

Drink alot of water---at least 8 glasses a day. pure clean water not coke or pop in fact stop drinking all soda, period.---not even diet pop because that has too much sodium in it. Water with exercise should do it.
