Absolutely! God has been very patient with us but we've pretty well managed to mess up our planet and ourselves. The Bible tells us that in the last days there will be wars, earthquakes, floods, and illnesses and there will be changes in the climate. We are seeing the Book of Revelations come to life every day. The Bible also tells us to "pray for the peace of Israel."

Read 2 Timothy 3:1-5 this list some of the things we will see in "the last days".
Matthew 24:3 Jesus disciples asked him what would be the sign of his presence and of the conclusion of the system of things and in the verses following he answers that question. One of the things he mentions is "nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom" (Matt. 24:7)
Yes it can be argued that there has always been wars, crime, disease and violence. However, the sign that Jesus gave was a composite one, he did not say that any one event would prove we were in the last days but when the entire sign is in evidence , that is significant-especially when it appears on a global scale.

No but it is probably a sign that the fundamentalists have gotten hold of biological research and are waging war by selectively creating viruses to attack their enemies. The next virus is going to be one that attacks the poor and uneducated to reduce the world's population to deal with global warming and infidels.
No, I don't really think. I just make things up. I'm only in it for the points and the prizes at the end of the game.

Eva,
There is no way we can predict the end of the world.
All generations, for thousands of years have reached
points in which they thought it was the end of the world,
look at Europe during the Black Plague, look at both World
Wars. So many Innocent lives lost. And here once again,
we are at a turning point, in which we are experiencing
different situations than usual, and most can be explained,
Only one person knows when the end of the world is, and
He is not saying.
So keep your faith up and going, and continue to live every
day at its fullest.
Stay well!

There is no prophecy going on today, We are living in the age of grace and we walk by faith and not by sight. God is not using signs and wonders today. 2 Corinthians 5: 7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) The Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins and if we would believe and trust in what He did for us then we have the peace of God, knowing that we have a place in heaven when we die. The church must be caught off the earth before the wrath of God is poured out in the tribulation period. 1 Thessalonians 1: 10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.

If that were true, then I guess the world was ending during the times of the civil war and the plague. It sure is taking while for it all to end.

Jeremiah 46:10
But that day belongs to the LORD, the Lord Almighty— a day of vengeance, for vengeance on his foes. The sword will devour till it is satisfied, till it has quenched its thirst with blood. For the Lord, the LORD Almighty, will offer sacrifice in the land of the north by the River Euphrates.
