That's right. And one of these two scenarios usually follows:
1) The girl goes and finds another jerk to date. The nice guy groans and thinks about what an idiot the new bf is.
2) The girl finds a guy who's a confident gentleman. The nice guy envies the gentleman's skill.
And that's it. Rarely will the girl actually date the nice guy, because she has no respect for him as she does for other men she'd consider dating.

I think that when the a**hole dumps her she starts dating another a**hole and still can only see the Good guy as a friend. If this goes on long enough she gets the idea that all men are a**holes rather than realize that she's making poor decisions.
Maybe, at some time she might realize that she's making a mistake by going out with a**holes. I don't know how often that is.
If you detect some frustration in my words it's because I've been
a Good guy all my live and seen this issue from that perspective.

I think what you are talking about is the "bad boy" mentality. Girls have an attraction to that type of individual. True those types of individuals may in the end hurt them badly, but sometimes women are clouded by the "god he's hot kinda guy". But remember beauty is beyond skin deep what happens after the honeymoon is over so to speak. At some point, women start thinking long term and learn from their experiences, this makes them understand that person that has been there all along. Ahhh that friend.

that is the plot of how many movies? i think it is true in fact maybe that is why i never got the girls when i was younger...i was too nice.
i don't think its wrong of him. its never fun being the rebound guy for someone you care about and know things will never work out with. if she really wants to be with the "nice" guy and give up the "bad" guys she should apologize to him and give him a chance and see where things go...isn't that how all the movies end?

then the a... le guy turns into a nice guy, because he realizes that noone else can tolerate him. So you go back to him because he changes and forget about the good guy. The good guy, who is heartbroaken shares his story with your best friend and eventually they start dating and have a happy relationship. You get bored with the A...le guy, because he is actually nice and you miss the good guy, but there is no way back...

I like nice men but then I learned that by dating a real Dork.
Look for the man that you would lean on in a bad situation as some on to sepend good times with too

It's never nice, but always true...except:
Girls with high self esteem don't ever seem to need the crutch of a bad boy.

That's the truth, but don't despair. When she cries in your arms, make your move seemingly spontaneous , works every time.
