Well if you look back in history theres plenty of evidence where , in the early, early cultures it was OK to kill, murder and then eat those killed even when food was not scarce. Fact is that Cannibalism was in the early cultures very common. This realization was established when mass graves and other burials showed cuts and damage on bones consistent with the persons being killed by murder. The Christian Crusades are another example of wanton and widespread murder and here the Salem Witch Hunts-murder. If it was sufficient the ones conscience or inner voice tells us murder and theft are wrongg then one wouldn't hear of robberies where not only do they with a gun steal money at a convenience store but even after the money is given they shoot, murder the store clerk. I guess if one follows the news-example Israel and Lebanon-perhaps even with man law and scripture telling its wron and punishment will follow it still happens, a lot.

No.

Remember, before the creation of the 10 commandments and Jewish Law, people were actively aware of their transgressions. For example the story of Cain and Abel. There was no written law at that time.

There is something inherent in peoples souls and conscience, that deliniates the right from the wrong.

Apparently you do. When the Church and the State are so closely intertwined in America it seems evident that most people (Presidents included) rely on their religious beliefs to tell them what is right and what is wrong. If would be nice if the Church and State were two separate entities like they're supposed to be.

Today...I believe religious scripture is being bypassed in teaching and it's up to Ruger 9 to teach someone coming in my house unexpected...

It would be nice if people followed that scripture...I hate having to fire that gun..but will do what I have to....
Trespass on my land or body...you lose every right you may think you have....

But what about people you don't like? Or people that are sick anyways - surely you would want to end their suffering? Or babies you didn't mean to conceive? Or what about something you really just can't afford, and so-and-so really doesnt need it, you should be allowed to take it.They can claim it on the insurance and get another one.

Apparently, we do.

No society I'm aware of teaches that murder is okay.

Oops! Maybe the US does. I believe the death penalty is legal, no?

Absolutely not. Some people do believe this, though, and they think that a society of atheists will just run amok and kill each other and eat their hearts. Totally untrue... we'd eat their livers.

Do we really need governmental law to tell us that? Of course not, but it's there. It is against the law to kill and steal. I know, you would think it was common sense, but people still do it.

People know what is right and what is wrong. They just choose not to do what is right. Those that do wrong, are led by satan.
