This is not so much of beliefs. I feel it has more to do with what was reported and also using a lot of inference. I hope the guys with STRONG RELIGIOUS BELIEFS will take my question within their stride.
Many people reported in near deaths situations of seeing a bright light before they lift off from their body and journey into a world of peace. It is a world of nothingness that no one of us can describe in layman's language. There is no heaven as we know it. There is no god. Just nothingness but peace.
The question is this. Could this be the real world the universe really is?
Is all the perception we have of what that is around us really NOT THERE? I do agree under normal circumstances, what I say can sound very silly. Of course, all that is around us is there. We can see and feel them.

However, could it be possible for some reason all these are only a figment? That is to say, the world of nothingness is more real than the world we live in. Therre may not even be any stars or galaxies that we are actually seeing. It is like all these that we see are brought into existence for us.
Could it be possible the universe that we live in is not really there and all these are brought into existence by our observations and beliefs just like the electron in the hydrogen atom? I read somewhere that in quantum mechanics, we can't really say the electron exists in the atom until we do experiments to test if.
I hope all you guys just take it within your stride. I am just wndering and ask.

Thanks to all for your replies.
I will try to answer your replies as general and as relevant to you replies as possible.
Some of you still replied you believe in a creater. That's ok! I am not saying you are wrong. Some say there is so much more there is out there. Some of you replied whether is there a heaven and hell and an after life.
But that is exactly the idea I am trying to broach. Are all these real? Is this universe only a universe of nothingness. All the others are only a figment of our imagination, brought into existence by our beliefs and observation. Even the laws of the universe may not be really there. It is there because we believe it is there. Can what I say be true?
