Was it really an apple? Or do you think maybe it was a pomegranite, fig or what?

It's an apple. But if I had to pick one just for fun, I'd say passion fruit lol.

Actually the bible never actually said. It's just always depicted as an apple. So we don't really know. It may have been a grape, fig, wheat, or citron

The Bible says that it was an apple, so that is what I'm going to say. I really am to tired to have a deeper thought.

I,too believe it to be an apple. why can't people just believe what the bible tells us.Even the pics in the bible shows us it's an apple.

the bible never actually said which fruit it was...most scholar who have studied the region believe the fruit to have been a pomegranate.

it was indeed a pomegranate! by the way: "pomme" is the french word for apple...
