Your body burns calories 24/7 until you are dead, This is because your body burns calories from involuntary things like your heart beat or breathing Technically, you can eat more if you get less sleep, However, not alot more because you're probably not doing heavy, physical for the time you should be sleeping, Also, food eaten late usually gets stored as fat So, don't think that just you can eat a three-course meal just cause you miss a few hours of sleep, You'll add unwanted weight quickly

Yes, you burn calories while sleeping but not as much when you're awake. Most calories are burned thru muscular activity such as doing sedentary household chores, aerobic exercise and etc. A small percentage is used for our body's anabolism (Tissue building--such as skin, bones & etc.), metabolism, and catabolism (usage of our nutrient intake). Therefore, you don't burn more calories while sleeping.

nope - when sleeping your metabolism slows down, also allowing it to rest. that is why you may hear things like 'dont eat anything after 7pm or you will gain weight easier.' your metabolism slows down as the day goes on, especially when it gets close to your bedtime. in people who work graveyard shifts (people who work from say, 7pm to 7am) and who are up all night actually have metabolisms that are more active during those times because those are the times that they are awake and active. but still, in this case, those graveyard shift workers still dont have as active of a metabolism as they would if they were awake 'normal' hours because the body is used to being awake from sun up to sundown. so no, you burn more calories when you are awake, not while sleeping.

You can still burn calories while sleeping but not as much as when you are awake, much less than when you are exercising.
But constant work out to build more lean muscles and improve your cardio-vascular capacity can help boost your basal metabolic rate, i.e. the rate at which you burn calories while at rest.
So the answer to your question is a resounding no. Or else you will see beds replacing treadmills at the gyms.

No, that's why you should not eat beyond 6 p.m.
Your metabolism slows down...sure you burn a few calories, but NOTHING like being awake and working out, or just being awake and non-sedentary.

No, you burn most when you are eating and exercising... just you can't eat too much or else your body doesn't know what to do with it and stores it as fat.

Only if you are taking some sort of FAT Burner liquid/pill, Example: Green Tea and plenty of water. Other than that no you burn more fat during the day when you work out.
