I fell it is easier to
believe if you "sin" you can pray and all will be forgiven RATHER THAN believe that if you do this there will or could be other consequences besides "sinning" then identifying the consequences and choosing the answer or choice that suits your personality and lifestyle.
believe that your "soul" will continue on or believe there are "greater things" RATHER THAN realizing that when your dead, your vital organs shut down, your cells quit reproducing and you will rot in the ground or be cremated. YOU are not important. when you die, you die!
believe that if you send your little $20 a month to the church or drop a few dollars in the collection plate, well you are doing your part to give and make the world a better place RATHER THAN realize that in order to help make the world a better place you have to get up off your lazy butt and do something instead of trying to ignore or be ignorant about problems, go to church once a week and think you are a better person for it.
Easier to believe that GOD loves you RATHER THAN nobody besides your close family and friends gives a flip about you and what you make of your life is up to you and no one else.
I could go on and on, but ultimately what i am saying is that it is far easier to be blind and live in a fairytale than it is to wake the heck up and deal with reality. Its easier to live your life by someone else's standards than it is to establish your own and have an understanding of why they belong to you. It is easier to believe in GOD or whatever creator and all will be worth it in the end and everything happens for a reason, and GOD wants it this way than to take control of your own life, quit living in fear, realize that if your life is hard its because you've made it hard and need to change, and that when you die you are gone, you break down and decay so you better have a good life while its here. Its so much easier t believe in God. and honestly, no offense to anyone but i wish i was as blind, as gullible, as ignorant, and as simple minded as those who do so i could breeze by life and think there was something better at the end. Sorry but i choose the path seldom taken and put my trust in science and proven facts.

Being a christian, we don't GET a book. The Bible is not free, believe me. And it is a very, very thick book, and yes we do have to think. We have a brain and we make all of our own decisions. God wanted it that way. I guess whoever said that might of been referring to the fact that you don't have the BIBLE to read, research, study. Or you dont have an organized religion to the fact that you don't go to CHURCH,(o m G, which do I go to), have Schools, Vacation Bible Schools, Revivals, Prayer Meetings, Communion, Colleges, all kinds of get togethers. Now, wow thats a lot. Do athiests do ALL, or ANY of this? Seeme like athiests do have it easy.

are you a Christian? no? then do not speak for me. It is not easy to be a Christian, believe me, There are alot of things that I go through everyday that make life hard, I am not complaining but until you walk in my shoes do not presume to know and when you are not a Christian do not presume to understand. Atheist don't have it easy either I do not think, they are just full of themselves and think that if they in their infinite wisdom cannot comprehend or understand something then it must be wrong. a little egotistical I would say.

we are able to describe a range of of it with the large bang theory and the technique of abiogenesis and organic selection... can we clarify surely each and every thing? No, yet we are engaged on it... we're not content cloth with purely affirming "God did it," as human beings like you're... We yearn to understand the reality. you're purely happy with a lackluster answer, we favor to understand the way issues are executed. Will I be the single to figure it out? No, i'm no longer a scientist, i'm very few generic f*ck sitting on a chair... yet i'm an propose for technological understanding.

Being atheist is not easy. You get bombarded with religious excrement, threatened with eternal crappolla (then asked "why worry, like you'd give a damn), read answers bible-verse-copy-paste on this site, and a lot of other spiritual manures. No, it's not easy to be an atheist.

i'm christian. i've never said being an athiest is easy. you guys have moral challenges just like we do. sure, the bible says not to do something, but there is still temptation to do it. Atheists just battle it out with their own views on life and their own morals.

Atheism is the belief that there is no supreme power.
what makes it easy is that there are no rules to follow as in organised religion.
with atheists it is about doing what is moraly right not spiritly right.

I'm not saying it is easy, but many religions think its harder to believe in something that isn't physical than not to believe in it.

What do you guys think about so much? Do you ponder how this great world of ours was created? Do you study evolution every night before betime? ...pssh. I don't depend on any book, I just depend on myself, and I'm a Christian.
