Your question is not very clear. It is wrong to be naked in public for any reason. Certainly a hedonistic society is more prone to STDs than a virtuous people. The celibate person or the chaste couple will not catch any STDs because they don't take that chance. Stay away from danger and remain safe.

It called Capiatlism. If you have something to sell and people willing to buy you can (if its not illegal). Posing nude is not illegal so some women and men have found that there is an industry in nude posing. If you do not want to do not. If you do not like it then do not support the industry. Just like every other industry, pornography works off supply and demand. The demand does remain so will the supply.

Also, posing nude and increase in STDs do not have a correlation. Those that buy the end product of posing nude ususally masturbate...which does not spread STDs.

oh, posing in nude is for the artists only. it's part of their subject to paint nude persons. Especially the nude lady with the desirable curves and measurement. But it is also applicable to the males ones.
But if you mean bold dancers, well, that another part of the people's way to earn money easier, not taking into consideration the disgusting reactions of the people around them.

What has 'posing nude' got to do with STD? Do you mean one can get STD just by posing in front of a camera or painter?

A lot of great painters and sculptors had someone pose nude for them and they produced great pieces for us to appreciate.

I'm not really sure I understand where you are going with this...

But a nude model for an art class is pretty standard in most advanced art classes.
