Speaking as a mother, tell your Mom. What your sister is planning may seem harmless, but any number of bad things could happen. You may feel like a rat and your sister may treat you like one, but you'll just have to deal with that.

To snitch or not to snitch, that is the question.
Your sister's activity could be rather dangerous - cars are rather visible places to sleep and not at all secure - what happens if some drunk and lonely guy wanders by and sees your sister and her friend sleeping all alone in the car? Has she thought of this? Has her friend? Maybe it doesn't matter in your neighborhood, but then again, maybe it does.
I would tell your sister that she needs to either tell your mom herself, or make other arrangements that are safer. If she won't do either, you're only looking out for her safety by telling your mom. But give her a chance to do the right thing first

No don't rat your sister out yet. You should let this one go. Just because they are not drinking this time doesn't mean that they won't someday soon. You need your sister to trust you so you can keep an eye on her. If you tell your mom about this then your sister will hide everything from you, and what if she really needs you someday, like if she is drinking and in trouble and you need to tell your mom then. Does that make sense?

Yes. If you love your sister I would. Anything can happen out in this world. You would feel terrible if something happens to her. I am sure your Mom wants to know. Your Mom would be heart broken too if anything should happen to her. Be the sister who cares, loves and wants her sister around a long time. Your sister gets mad...she will get over it.

If you truly love your sister and want no harm to come to her then I would suggest letting mom know her plans. Sleeping in a car isn't safe for an adult female let alone an almost but not quite there teenager!

First off, how do you know they aren't going to be drinking? Because they say so? Second, if the girl has no license she has no business driving. sorry, but from a parents perspective, what she's doing is dangerous. You wouldn't be able to forgive yourself If anything happened. You should rat her out.

TELL YOUR MOM!!!! Your sister is in Danger! Her friend does not have a License, and they COULD GET INTO A MAJOR CAR ACCIDENT!!!!! Dont listen to these crazy people telling you not to tell on your sister. If you love your sister and dont want her to die--tell your parents right away!!! TELL MOM OR DAD TONIGHT!!

there's a reason people are required to have a driver's license. your sister and her friends should find another way to hang out together. inexperienced drivers have more accidents...what if that happened while they're out? would you want it on your head that you could have stopped her from going?
