I don't believe in a religion. I'd really think of it already. If you choose a religion, they have a strict laws that you has to be obey or else you has commited a sin/crime/or things you done. What is the point of living when you can't live the life that you dream of?

Well if you belive in God then you have to reflect on what our purpose in this life is. I honestly believe that religion isn't for restricting your life but for worshipping God the way He wants us to and its a guide on how to do it in a pleasing manner to Him so that we can spend our eternal life with Him.
Pray that helps

The purpose of a religion should be to help you live a better life...and that's it. When religion BECOMES your life, it has become a mental parasite. When you live for your religion, you have become a lesser person. Always live for yourself, and if your religion won't let you, then it's time to leave it.

Of course, if you can find happiness as a freethinker, that's about the most genuine form of life-contentment I've seen. The realization that you don't have to believe in mythologies & fantasies to be happy is VERY liberating.

Oh and to Earl D, most religions have a very big problem with thinking for yourself, or believing that religion does not have a monopoly on morality....

Imo, no. i will understand and experience some factors of diverse religions, yet there is not any longer one faith that I have linked with yet. I many times don't experience delicate. And it isn't meant to be that way. it is meant to make finished experience, experience delicate & reassuring. i'm agnostic. that does no longer mean that those who follow a faith are better human beings. they merely have diverse beliefs.

Religion should only be an asset to your life. If it isn't, then don't bother with one.

For what it's worth, though, not all religions have strict laws.

In other words you're telling us you intend to be a rapist, murderer, armed robber, drug dealer, pimp, terrorist, thief, drug addict, wife beater, child molster, Fortune 500 CEO, Forture 500 CFO, Fortune 500 CPA or lawyer.

Those are the only things in life that most religions have problems with!

Choose a spiritual path that you are comfortable with...preferably non-organized. I finally found one that suits me and fits my beliefs...I didn't have to fit my beliefs to it's "laws". I'm much happier now! Good luck.
