Format of letter accepting a resignaiton and requesting for return of company's propoerty?

Just say "this letter will acknowledge your resignation dated xxx. We would like to make arrangements to come by to pick up the property during the week of...... or would like to make arrangements for the return of the property within the next xx days.

XYZ accepts with regret your letter of resignation. We ask that on or before your date of separation your return your stapler, tape dispenser, and the three paper clips still in your desk drawer.
