I would think if the boy, or guy is about the same age as the gal, he won't lie. However, if he is lots older, he may lie, in trying to keep the girl. Some guys look a lot older than they are, and some look younger than they are. So there is a few reasons for men to lie.
I hate to be picky here, but lets face it, women regard their age, as if it were a military secret, and would cause death to those who find their age out. LOL

What I'm getting at is, if they lie, they aren't worth your time. Just the nature of the beast, I guess.

I have no problem tellin my age, it's 26. Usually it's women who don't want to reveal their age.
