Just one isn't bad, but I had top and bottom ones, and I sounded a little strange when I talked. However they may have changed since then and are probably a little easier to wear. Either way, you'll have a pretty smile and that's worth it.

It feels okay. Takes a while to get used to though, it might be hard to talk in them at first (they give you a really bad lisp), but once you adjust it should be fine. Sometimes when you get them tightened at the orthodontist they hurt your teeth, but again you'll get used to it.

It feels a little uncomfortable for the first couple nights, but after awhile you get used to it.

You can't talk plainly, at least I couldn't. I kept pronouncing r's like w's. I finally quit wearing it because of it.
