If USA nuke Mecca and Medina in response to a nuclear attack in USA--how will you retaliate? What will be the response of 1.5 billion Muslims
scattered throughout the whole world? Nuking all of them will mean a Nuclear Winter!!! and possibly Russia and China will attack USA if they are affected by radiation. If there are sleeper cells of Al_Qaeda inside US mainland--what will they do? In Islamic Eschatology--a sign of Last Hour and Final War is the destruction of their holy sites.
So, possibly they will be inspired.

I am not a Muslim, but I know them so very well, and I can answer you for certain what they will do.
It will be world war III, IV, V one after the other if there is to be a stop in between. It doesn't matter if the USA retaliated for nuclear attack or not. If it happens, they will make the whole world pay not just the USA. They will make every single non Muslim pay for it, and if it happens that Muslims are in the way, so be it, they too get it as well.
Believe it. I'll give you a small example. The cartoons about Muhammad. Muslim rioted against all Christians and Jews who had nothing to do with it.

Well, if USA government tries to attack Mecca it will be the duty of the true Christians and Jews citizens in USA to stop their government. Because when wrong people come into power they will do anything in the name of religion. I mean a Christian, Jew or a Muslim who has no strong faith would always try to destroy others so that only he remains and controlls the world.
But a good beliver always try to get the people togather and live in peace, he is never afraid of dying nor he wishes to control this world since he has been already promised a life better than this by his God.
I mean GWB would not have fought in Iraq if he had the right belive in God. He would have thought of the all innocent people who would die because of this war! . If the war was just to remove Saddam, then he should have used some other tactics so the people would not be hurt. But it is clear that the reason was not Saddam or terrorism nor Islam or christianity. It was something else.
Saddam Hussain would not have treated his own people like that if he had a right belive in Allah. He would have thought that one day he will be asked about his doings and while watching the secrets of his people he should have known that there is somebody wacthing him from above.
Israeli Government would not have done all these massacres killing children, raping woman,killing innocent men and elderlies in the name of God. God never asks to kill these innocent people who he had created.
Osama Bin Laden would not have done his wrong doings if he had understood Islam properly. Islam does teaches to fight only if attacked (i.e.men to men:soldiers and armies), not to kill innocent people or destroy other's worship places. He would have thought a thousand time before bringing all these bad images of Islam to others to talk about.
so it is the duty of people to stop war and hate and bring peace to this world. Governments did not succeed until now and they will never because once they reach into power they forget their God and thinks that they have all the right to do anything, anytime, anywhere! and the religion is only good base for them to start fights and arguments to seperate those people who used to live in peace

Well I have Muslim great grand-parents but I live in the USA so I just hope for peace between the USA and them. In fact I am part Lebanese.

Spraying PIG BLOOD instead of Nuking would cause just about as much panic and retaliation.
EVERYONE would be surprised if there are not sleeper cells in the USA ---Chinese, muslim, and Russian.

anyhow for your information, that House i.e al kaaba, and its perimeters belong to ALLAH, SO LET ANY TRY THAT AND Cnn be ready for filming, so we can see the result.

Most of "US" Christians, Jews, Muslims want to
