Read the bible more often. And the koran. I was very loyal to a religion then I had nothing else better to do but start reading the holy book verse by verse. The faith was replaced by shame-how could I be so stupid as too believe this crap? Get deeper into your religion, it will make a great atheist out of you.

Why is it so important for you to be "atheist." If you are starting to doubt, at least be agnostic. It is difficult to prove no God, but agnostics are in the middle ground. They are open-minded. Please don't disregard religion so quickly. Many things are possible. Think about the universe...it stretches...never stops. The stars upon stars, the crazy miracle of life on Earth. How did it happen? Nobody really knows, and atheism is too exreme of a view.

To be a "better" atheist you need to become educated to other religoins, that you might know why you evolved spirtually into an atheist. By the way, concrats on joing the group! I'm one as well.

There is no such thing as a better or worse atheist. There is no discipline to be followed or doctrine you have to observe, and by which you can be judged as a better or worse atheist. Atheism is just an attitude, nobody is looking at you to see how good you are at it.

You cannot, because you believe that something does not exist, their for your knowledge against it can only gain so much. So rather then being a better Atheist why not be a better human?

Contrary to popular belief, you don't need religion to be a good person.

That depend son what kind of atheist you are. If you're agnostic like me, than delve further into your own personal spiritualality and try to further define the Higher Being to yourself.
