That error message usually means the disk you are installing from is damaged or files on it are corrupted. Might be worth getting a fresh copy that you know works.

Try to open the carck files then copy paste to your program files and then enter it again in your installation try to restart then see if it functions.

If the software was opened, you will have to call EA's customer support. The information is on the package

Oh my gosh! The same exact thing happens to me and I am very mad about it. I think that you should take it to a Fry's, or a video game store, or the store that you got it from!!
