I was always mistaken for being much older than I was. I liked people thinking I was older. The only thing I can think of that it can get her in trouble is with guys....older guys hitting on her. She'll like the attention and she might want to go for them. Just talk to her about it if you are worried about that.

Now days it is very common for a girl that is 12 or 13 to look 15 or 16 some even 18. BUT you ahve to be careful cuse a young girl looking that old could get in a lot of trouble.

When i was 18, i was always mistaken for a 14 year old. Today i am 32 and people tell me that i don't look a day over 25. I am not offended by this, it's a compliment. My daughter is 14 and is mistaken for 18, she sometimes gets upset, but like i tell her, it can be a good thing too.

There is nothing wrong with looking either younger or older for your age.

It's not weird for a girl to look older, it just means that she has developed a bit earlier. People can be nasty at high school, but dont worry by the time you are actually 15-17 everyone would have caught up by then so theres not need to worry.

It's normal, but really not good. I admit that I have trouble with ages, and tend to look lustfully at girls...then someone says, hey there, my daughter's 12 years old, pervert, I think I may have to punch you on principle.

That's the bad...she may be beautiful and hot, but her mind is still that of a child that certainly doesn't deserve those gross lustful adult males eyeing her up and down. Remember your mind at her age, and how even a few years has provided you with lots more maturity.

Good luck to you and your poor sister...I'll try to be mindful of age the next time a pack of females walk by.

no, a lot of people look older/younger than they really are. its better because 15/16 year olds usually look better than 12/13 year olds.

As far as I know, I'm 16 and people think I'm 18/20. And here's the stupid part... I live on simplicity and don't care about looking older, I just do look older. Gets me thinking... I don't really like it because it not comfortable.

It is not weird it is normal for this to happen. People think that I am always older then i look but in the long run it is good. Just enjoy it for as long as it lasts.

No, I always looked older when I was young. And now, that I'm older I'm often mistaken for younger! WHOO-HOO! Anyway, the only concern would be that older guys mistake her for older and put the move on her. As long as you guys are smart and aware, there's nothing wrong with looking older.

it can be good but it can be bad...it is not weird...it happens all the time. It can be good cause you guys can hang out together with the same ppl. It can be bad cause if you like a guy and the guy meets the two of you and likes her...
