I have read a lot of questions regarding this issue and all of them are just talking about the inmigrants, the people from Mexico or other country. I know many of the people who "aks" questions about it only say that inmigrants dont pay taxes, commit crimes, etc.
But what about the other part of this equation, what about the people who hire them and im pretty sure those are not mexican, those are american who dont want to hire american citizen because they pay the labor cheaper.... what can u tell me about them?
I live in a border city and its really sad that the police arrest inmigrant when they should arrest the "polleros", the people who charge like 5000 dlls in order to "help" the inmigrant to cross the border and then will die in the dessert alone. Of course i want the mexican government to do something about it.
So, do u think that only the inmigrants are all the source of the problem, like i said, what about the people who hired them.?

What i can say about the inmigrant is that basically they are searching for the "american dream", to have more income and to help their families in Mexico.
Its my dream and my desire that one day will be enough jobs for us, that we will have a good payment and benefits.
The inmigrants have all my respect, is not esy to leave their family, their country to go to another place and many times die trying to do that.

I agree with you that as long as there is a demand for undocumented workers in the US, then there will always be a supply. Focusing just on people who are crossing the border, honestly looking for work, isn't going to solve anything. And, frankly, I think that those employers who hire undocumented workers should be punished for more than just the immigration reason: They're also employing people in this country without paying them the minimum wage, which is also illegal and punishable. It seems like if they were paying US citizens such poor wages, people would care a lot more about going after them. That seems very hypocritical to me, as minimum wage laws were meant to protect all people working in this country, not just US citizens.
Personally, I believe that our economy thrives on immigration, so trying to stop immigration into this country is a bad idea. Certainly, it would be much more desirable for a number of reasons if all the immigrants into this country came legally with proper documentation. However, I think that a lot of people look at this issue and use it as an excuse to try and stop immigration altogether.
If the US government were really concerned about stopping the flow of immigration into this country, not only would they punish employers who hire undocumented workers, but they would also focus more on helping to improve the economies in Latin America and South Asia (keeping in mind that not all undocumented workers in this country come from Spanish speaking countries). Then, people could earn sufficient amounts to provide well for their families in their home countries and would have less of a reason to find work elsewhere. If you know a little bit about history, then I'm sure you know that this has generally not been the policy goal of the US in these regions, to say the least.

Only the ignorant say all illegals are criminals, etc. Truth be told, most are law abiding, hard working people that just want a chance to feed themselves and their families. Yes, the people who hire them are the ones that commit the crime, they are Americans. They are not taking jobs away from anybody, Americans don't do the kind of hard labor most of the illegals take anyway. How many people do you know would spend 14 hours picking crops in a field being sprayed with pesticides? That is back-breaking work and with the sprays, these poor folks have major health issues. Besides, truth be told, most illegals are coming from Asia, but the ignorant ones who post about illegals wouldn't have a clue about that, would they?

Every last bit of it is a problem you're right the employers are no better by hiring them. I watched this big thing on O'Reilly or Hannity and Colmes where they were taping people picking up illegals for work and stopped this one guy to ask you know they're illegal why are you hiring them? His answer”Hey I'm not letting them in, they're here willing to work for cheap labor I'll take them, until the government keeps them from coming I will continue to hire them.” It was disgusting to hear, but it's true the whole immigration system needs to be overhauled from beginning to end.

No they can not. Don't feel the lies of the proper that they use to check out to ban big quantities authorized residents, a lot of them newly granted citizenship, from vote casting. Ever pay attention of ballot taxes and literacy checks? They had been used to exclude African Americans within the historic Jim Crow South, and nonetheless the proper attempts to hold sincere, dependable Americans from vote casting.

I think you're right... a huge part of the problem is the people who are hiring them. You can fault these people for coming here to find a better life for themselves and their families. But if there was no work for them here, they would have no reason to come.

The problem is that when the get here we have to pay for them as we pay for our own people. And they are not our own poor people, and often don't even like us. They just want free education in our schools for their children, etc.
I think coyotes are worse and employers should be prosecuted. However, I don't think that makes it ok to come here and take services and limited funds away from those who should have them.
