Take Ibuprofen or tylenol. If it continues to rise, see a doctor.

Tylenol can reduce fever when taken every four hours, you can alternate tylenol and motrin for an even better effect (be sure to use the proper dosing). Tepid (cool, not cold) baths can help as well...the main thing is - having an elevated temp for a long period of time can cause brain damage, if this person's temp is continuing to go up and none of the above treatments have brought the fever down, they need to see a doc or even head to the ER. a mild fever (under 102) can be beneficial if the person is fighting off a virus (this makes a hostile environment for the virus and helps your body to fight it), but anything above that that has been ongoing for more than 24 hours needs medical treatment.

Anyone with a temp over 103 degrees needs to be seen by a doctor ASAP.

Aspirin, Tylenol are good fever reducers. Have the person drink as much water as possible. Sitting in a cool, not cold tub of water can reduce body temp as well.

How high? Higher than 103, get to the emergency room. What is causing the fever? If you don't know, get her to a doctor. If it's a virus and is between 101 and 103, give her Tylenol or Motrin and cool baths. If the fever doesn't come down in a matter of hours, get her to a doctor.

If ibuprofen or acetamenaphin are not helping try a luke warm bath. Just 'barely' warm water but not cool, that would just be cruel. My kids had uncontrollable high fevers when young and when all else failed the bath helped. Sometimes with extreme fever it may take 2 tepid(luke warm) baths. I never saw one that outlasted 2. If the fever is uncontrollable for 12 hours and is very high see a doctor.

You can take a warm shower, it will open the pores and decreases temperature, take tylenol. If the temp is higher than 100.8 it is considered a temp and needs to be addressed by a Dr.

First of all tylenol and then maybe a cool bath. If it keeps spiking the person needs to see a doctor!

first of all, its better to seek a doctor. If home remedy, i usually place a ice pad on my fore head and will not switch on the fan or air-con in the house. this will sweat me out alot and helpd to reduce the temperature.
