Yes. I'm actually a Barista, but I rarely drink coffee. I drink a lot of caffeine-free soda, so I don't generally have an issue with caffeine. If you tend to not drink it on a regular basis, it will keep you up&stay within your system for at least 7/8 hrs. However, if you drink 3 cups in a few hours [like some of our regulars do], I would highly recommend slowing it down. Coffee is good for you. But only up to a certain extent. Too much coffee everyday, would raise your blood pressure. You don't wanna have a heart attack er anything.

Coffee has a stimulant in it called caffine. It works sort of like a speed but very mild. This stimulant in the long run can be addicting. If you have hypertension (high blood pressure) it is recommened that you drink a cup no more than 3 times a week. Decaf will do the job if your ticker is over working.

No, coffee doesn't keep me up but energy drinks like gatorade or monster -- orange kind really does.

Another concotions are the Turbo truffles - boy they really give you a caffeine rush in less than 45 minutes and you can be alert for few hours.

They come in different flavors -- Hot Rod hazelnut, coconut, peanut butter, mint chocolate, orange rush.

Sometimes it does. It depends on how tired I am. There have been times when I've had coffee and I tossed and turned most of the night. Other times it had no effect on me whatsoever. Strange...

Nope. I can drink caffeinated drinks all the way up till the time I decide to go to bed and I don't have a problem falling asleep unless I'm stressed out.

Some people are kept awake by the caffine, but those same people are also kept awake by soda in most cases, unless you have built up resistance to caffine.
