Okay, i'm a young lady *turning 16 in a few months* and i have a boyfriend. We have been dating for almost 10months. This was only my 2nd bf i ever had but my first love. I truly fell for him and i fell hard. today i poured my hear out for him. Something i normally wouldn't do since i don't trust easily. I told him the extent of my feelings and this is wat he had to say.
"What ever happens i want you to kno that at least i will be one of your very best friends"
So does this mean that he returns my feelins? Did i make a mistake by telling him how i felt? Please help!

btw... we have already said "I love you" to each other, what i had said ... is that i am willing to sacrifice my own happiness for you... think i took it too far even though that is how i feel?

No, young lady, no mistake was made. He either feels the same way you do, or he at least likes you enough, to be your best friend. If you really like him, relax.

I think that it means that he cares for you very deeply and just what he said, that you have a very special place in his heart. After 10 months you SHOULD be able to pour your heart out to him.. Are you disappointed that he didn't say I love you back? Because if you are, I'll just tell you that in my experience, it was NEVER said at the same time. Sometimes I'd say it and then the guy would say it back like a month later,...or sometimes the other way around. You did the right thing by telling him what you feel, so don't analyze things, just take them as they come. Give him a little time and see if he tells you more about he feels, and remember "love is patient and kind". Only God knows what is going to happen in the future, and if its meant to be, it will be. Again, I just want to tell you that you DID do the right thing, absolutely.

It's nothing to worry about. I think you did make a mistake telling him that, though. 15 is too young to be concerned with such things. I'm 21 and I'm not concerned with them, although I must admit I was when I was your age.
