Yes i do it all the time. Your arms get tired, but it is a nice change of a hair style once you get the hang of it.
You start out with a small section of hair (it doesn't matter whether your doing two braids or just one you follow the same directions) and divide it into three sections. Braid your hair as you normally do, but add a little division of hair as you braid the three sections. Repeat that until you run out of strands of hair to add in the braid and then braid the rest as you would a normal braid.
You should get the hang of it in no time. Remember practice makes perfect. And good luck!
