The ways of God are not the ways of man.
If you're at all concerned about it, why not get baptized?
Jesus was baptized by John so it is a-okay!

You are saved, and should be baptized it is not a requirement but it is something done in obedience to Christ. It represents the death and buial of your old life and coming up out of the water is your rebirth in Christ. Read Matthew 28:18 thru 20 and note that it was Jesus that was speaking. You are still saved, don't know what church told you that you aren't saved until you are baptized. Did the theif on the cross have time to get baptized???? No he didn't and Christ told him because he had believed on him that he would be in Paradise with Christ that day. There are many people that don't get saved until they are on their death bed, or close to it, if you invited Jesus into your heart and accepted him as Lord and Saviour you are saved. Hope this answers your question, but in the Bible when people got saved they also got baptized, but no where does it say that if you aren't baptized after accepting Jesus as your Lord and Saviour that you aren't saved.

No you don't have to be baptized to get into Heaven. If you believe in your heart and confess with your mouth the Jesus is the Christ the Living Son of God you will be Saved.
Baptism is a symbol that shows that the old has pasted away and that a new creation is alive in you. It only represents what you have already done. Believed.
If you are new in your walk, Read the Gospel of John the the other gospels. Read the Book of Acts and then Romans Those are some of the best places to start. Learn what Jesus did, then model your life after that. If will amaze you at how different believing is.
God Bless you and see you again on that day.

No, If you have accepted Jesus as Saviour you are on you way to Heaven. However we are baptized to show the world the we are now a follower of Christ. I know some will say the Bible says you have to be baptisted in order to be saved, but if they will read it right, the moment you accepted Jesus you are baptized into the Body of Christ by the Holy Spirit. Plan and Simple. Maybe to simple. Some will also say, except a man be born of water. Wonder what these people think the physical birth is

No. Baptism is an affirmation of your faith, and not required to get into Heaven. For Jesus said "For I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. NO ONE comes before the Father but through ME". There are a few Churches that tell you that you need to be baptized to be saved, such as the Lutheran Church and the Catholic Church. There is NOWHERE in the Bible that says you have to be baptized to be saved. There are many scriptures in the Bible that point to Jesus being the ONLY way to Heaven. So if you have accepted Christ as your personal saviour, you are saved, and will see Jesus in Heaven on your day.

Gospel of John 3:5 and Mark 16:16 may offer insight. Also see Col. 2:11-12, Luke 18:15, and Acts of the Apostles 16:33.
If you accept Jesus as Lord, then look also to his actions (works), because in reality this is how he taught. Jesus enter the river Jordan to be baptized even though He knew He was God. Why? Did he need baptism? No. He was already God, but He entered into John the Baptist baptism rite to teach us the correct path to follow Him.
Jesus taught much like a parent teaches a very young child--- through actions (works). Never once did Jesus command any of his followers to write down anything HE did, but He DID command us to follow His actions (works).
If baptism was important enough for the Son of God, it probably is important for you to be baptized.

Once you are born again, which mean accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior, your name is written in the book of life Period. It's that simple. There are no other things you must do in order to get into heaven. Read the word. Many people will try and tell you different things like they are now depends on what religion they are. Jesus didn't come for us to have religion but a relationship with the father. Sorry don't have my bible with me to give where you find find the info sorry. I think it can be found in the Gospel of John I think.

I know there is a debate going on about this. Some say you must be baptized to be saved and others say you dont......Jesus gives us the command to be baptized so we must obey this command. I personally dont think salvation is comes from being baptised because the theif on the cross had no way of doing this but was able to go to paradise with Jesus. But had he had time and wasnt bound to a cross, he would have been baptized. So get baptized as soon as you can to obey Jesus' commandment to do so.

No. Baptism is not REQUIRED for salvation.
Consider the thief on the cross. He wasn't baptized, yet Jesus said he'd be in heaven.
However, if you call Jesus LORD, then you'll do what He asks you to do (else is He really LORD?).
Being baptized is a public demonstration of the transaction in your heart. It's and easy and painless event. Go do it. It even has concrete benefit to your soul. It's kin to a pinky-promise. It reminds you that you're serious about your decision to follow Him. Kinda like paying for college makes you more serious about attending classes than getting a free ticket.

Don't believe what people tell you. Study your Bible for yourself. Water baptism has nothing to do with your salvation. In fact when you trust that the Lord Jesus Christ died for your sins you were baptized by the Spirit into His Body which is the church. 1 Corinthians 12: 13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. Ephesians 1: 22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Ephesians 1: 23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all. Water baptism is not not for the age of grace. There is only one baptism today and that is what the Spirit does when you believe. Ephesians 4: 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 2 Timothy 2: 15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

That is a good question. To tell you the truth I don't know, but I know that you would not be damned to hell. Christians believe that any child that dies before they get to understand the gospel will not be damned, but I believe those that believe the gospel, and never was baptized will not be damned to hell read Marks 16: 16-19, and see if that will help you. Congradulations on accepting Christ as your savior. I hope this will help.
