if you do not choose free will

what have you chosen ??

no free will !!

so why are you worried about free will

-it is like a river

you have to be in the river ( no free will here)

where in the river , ( now that is limitation & scope of free will)

you will be still in the river - but at your place of choosing
( yes the river will me moving & so will the water be moving - moving you - still within the river )

your free will means

- you can swim, float, get tossed around
* still in the river *

You're probably trying to find a way to escape the results of your actions. And no, you cannot abdicate your God-given right. Nor can anyone take it from you. They may limit your choices, but you will always have the right to choose your own actions, and the responsibility to receive the resulting consequences.
So, choose the consequence you want, and that'll tell you what action to take.

You refuse free will when you hand over your life to God, and you ask Him to be "The captain of the ship". It is still hard for me to give up the things I like to do, but I know that this is what He wants. Look at Jesus: even though He's the Son of God, He gave up his free will to save us.

Free will, curse or blessing. The first command God gave was one that would have avoided the whole free will issue. Adam and Eve did not have any knowledge of evil. They were innocent. ...blameless. Maybe God wanted us to stay that way. Do not eat the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil or you shall surely die. That's what He said. They knew nothing but good, they were innocent. After they ate of the fruit of the tree they knew evil and began to feel shame. They lost their innocence. It was not really about the apple or the tree. It was about obedience. Now we are responsible for our choices. No one else is responsible. Our choices have consequences. God did not want us to know evil. That was our first choice. Now our choice is to accept redemption or not to accept it. I am not responsible for anyone else's choice, only my own.

No you can not choose not to have free will. you can choose not to use it all you want... many do... they join cults that cotrole their lives for example... but Free Will is a gift of God to all mankind.... kind of like a buffett table... you can help yourself or you can ignore it... But it is still there.

as to any contradiction... If you become of the Christian Faith you will have the oportunity to ask God about that one day... if you choose not to use your Free Will to come to him... then I guess yo will never have the answer you want... Because you will never have the oportunity to ask Him.

The only way to give up free will is to become a slave. As slavery is abolished, you can only be a slave to a person you decide to be a slave to. But then you can change your mind and end that....because you would still have free will.

to chose not have free will involves chosing between free will and not giving us a choise. by having a choice we are given a mind that will allow us to contemplate between the two and when u come to the decision, you are using your free will to come to a decision. Its all a cycle.

Then that would be 'other' will. So that means you let others control you, make choices for you, and place your life in their hands? No decision is still a decision, it's the decision not to decide.
