Yeah, once you enter the Delayed Entry Program you have signed a contract that makes you part of the military. If you date a recruiter then you are dating your direct superior. It's fraternization. If you date them "before" you get in DEP then you are just joining the military because your boyfriend/girlfriend said it was a good idea, they just happen to be your recruiter. So if anyone asks you, just tell them you were dating before you decided to join.

It is written...at least for the Army. Recruiters can't have any type of personal relationship on that level with anyone who is a potential recruit. If a person is disqualified from service for any reason then it is no longer a problem. Like the person above said....common sense should tell you why.

Yes. The recruiter is not allowed to have any type of relationship, other than professional, with his/her recruits. This is to prevent favoritism, and to protect the recruiter from the recruit if he/she decides that they didn't make the right choice. Recruits have been known to make accusations against recruiters in an effort to be release from BT.

Not allowed to date, it is fraternization. Dont ruin a recruiters carrier. If it is that important, do not join. Changing recruiters wont help either.
Do people do it? they certainly do. But it is the wrong way to start your carrier in the military.

I never heard of any rule against it. So it should be allowed but it would prob be thought on negatively due to the fact your job is to get this person into the military and you are mixing your personal life with your work life.
