Ka'anapoli Beach, West Maui, the snorkling around black rock area is fun, easy, and rewarding (especially if you like to see turtles, fish, etc and you don't want to get you *** kicked, meaning don't go out to the crater unless you want to get sick). The sunsets from there are fantastic (I saw the gren flash from near Whaler's Village) Drive north from there and check out some private spots.

Go to Wailea! There are a few big name resorts in the area that are all spectacular and all have beach front access. It is not TOO crowded and it is not TOO deserted. Maui is the perfect medium of seclusion/relaxation and activities, especially for honeymooners (went there on mine). Wailea is beautiful and also a 5 minute drive to Kihei--a town that has strip malls and good local food. Best hotels in Wailea would be Grand Wailea (but pretty pricey) and the Kea Lani (also pricey but you get better value for your $ than the Grand Wailea). If you want to go cheaper, the Rennaissance Wailea is good and so is the Maui Prince. But if its your honeymoon, you should splurge. For snorkeling try "Trilogy Excursions" or call the concierge at the Maui Prince. Both have day trips where they take you on a catamaran out and let you snorkel for awhile..serve you lunch, etc. Its FANTASTIC! I guarantee you'll love it! Have a great time!

We adore Kauai for its seclusion... has the most amazing sunsets over the North Shore near Princeville. Fantastic snorkelling, big white beaches - anything you could want! We loved it so much we chose to cancel our home wedding plans and get married on the cliffs at Princeville.
Hanalei Bay is a really neat place too.

The north shore is beautiful check it out i rented a cabin with my family on the beach the sunsets are amazing.

i would go to maui ,,far more romantic place for romace, and anything else you want to do
