so how did you do this and where if in australia?
I need ideas cause I really like my best mate who just happens to be a female, we both want a more than mates relationship and its just a case of who asks and when.
So my question is how did you ask-eg: what you said? and what time of day? also if you're located within Australia, where did you ask?

I met my lady on-line. We live approximately 2.5 hours apart and I asked her to met me half way for a coffee. She agreed to meet me after we had chatted for a month on so on-line and she felt save. We had also spoken on the phone many times too. We had a coffee and donut then went out and sat by the river for a couple of hours and just talked. Oh, I forgot to mention I am not from Australia but I am from Canada. So seeing as this was March there was snow and ice on the water. But it didn't matter as we were so into learning about each other.
Best of luck to you in asking your mate out. I'm sure that she will want to meet you for a special day of conversation and learning more of each other.

you ask her like "I was wondering if you would like to go to (whatever the place is). she will say yes hopefully, cause I am a girl and I know what most girls would say,.....yes.
now I live in the US and have no idea what it is like in Australia. So my good friend, your on your own for the location.
the day should be at 5:00p.m and 8:00p.m.

the only way i know how to. i walked up to her & just let her know that i had been into her for a while & was hoping we could start a relationship...or at least something to that degree. i didnt ask her a question, i just made a statement & she responded. old-fashioned but nevertheless effective that was around noon, if i recall correctly. & i asked her out in cali, so no australian suggestions here

My one friend just ran up to the guy after school and asked him out. He said yes. Simple as that.

my bf was my best friend at first so one day i had no ride home after work so he picked me up and we kicked it for awhile and then when he was takin me home he gave me a perfume that i had told him about (not that i told him 2 buy it, i was telling him a story about it) then i hugged him and he kissed me and then thats when he said what he had to say and i said ya of course. it was 12-3-05 almost xmas :).
