I think you might have misunderstood the phrase. It could have been "shove it" or it could have been "shut up" ........ "shut up" is an aggressive way to say "do not say anything else" .... it is a rude phrase ........... "shove it" is a vulgar term which means "take whatever it is you are talking about and push it up your rectum" ....... it is not a term used by polite people ....... good luck with your translations !
