1. Messianic Jews are Jews who have accepted Jesus as their Savior. I was raised Jewish but now I believe in the Old Testament and the New Testament. I do not think that the Old Testament is abolished, but it was refined in the NT by Jesus (if you want more scripture evidence, I have a giant post). I believe in keeping the festivals and feast days, etc. I also believe that the name Christian is just a simple descriptor word, and that believers are grafted into the Tree of Life (as described in Romans).
2. For Jews in the past, if they had faith in God's promises, that includes His coming Messiah, then yes, they have a place in heaven. For Jews after Jesus, no. "'For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me, for he wrote about Me.'" (John 5:46) They have the knowledge of the Messiah, and yet do not accept Him.

(1)A messianic Jew is one who has accepted Jesus Christ as their Messiah. However, there are many Jews are still waiting for the Messiah. (2) The Jews are God's chosen people, but they didn't fulfill their divinely ordained mission instead they followed the idolaterous practices of the people around them. The only way for a person to enter into heaven in by Jesus Christ. Read Romans 2-5; 9-11. Paul deals with this issue at length. Ephesians 2:11-22.

Messianic Jew is a Jew who has accepted that Jesus is the Messiah and professes faith in Him as their Savior. Jews ARE God's chosen people, but it does not guarantee them a place in heaven, because Jesus says "I am the way, the truth and the life; no man comes to the father except through me." When the disciples were sent to spread the message of repentance and trust in Jesus, they were sent FIRST to the Jews and then to the Gentiles. If Jews were guaranteed Heaven, there'd be no need for Christ to come and no need to send missionaries to them. Check out www.jewsforjesus.org for more info.

1) A messianic Jew is an ethnic (as opposed to religious) Jew who has accepted Jesus as Messiah.
2) The Jewish people were chosen by God to bring salvation to the word THROUGH them. Jesus came from the Jewish people. HE is salvation. Being a Jew is no free ticket to heaven. They still have to accept God's gift of salvation in Jesus.

I believe a messianic Jew is a Jewish person who believes a certain person is the messiah (not sure who the person is, and there may be more than one, and they could be still living or dead for a while).
I'm not sure Jews believe in "heaven" the same way Christians do. I know they don't believe in a hell, either.
