Why did you capitalize the word "alignment"?

It is quite in alignment with Islamic teaching, I believe. The Hadith mentions that when Jesus returns, he will be married an have children. I personally believe this may not be a physically return but actually a return of correct knowledge... But then again, God knows best. Nothing in Islam contradicts anything from Da Vinci code.. i tend to think it may be quite true in many ways.

Sure why not. They always have opinions about Christianity as well. Some have said that he did not die on the cross. That that person was a double. Sides I liked the movie it was romantic in a way and revered Mary and the Bloodline of Jesus. There are things that have been added and taken away from the scriptures anyway. Does it really matter about the details as long as he returns anyway and fulfills prophecy? Jesus often kissed Mary on her hand while they were walking from town to town.

Islamic teachings would have no problem with what is said in the DaVinci Code. Also, if it had any negative affect on Western civilization, they would probably promote it.
