Well.......Im gonna give you a different kind of answer. A better skillet is either a cast iron or Let Creuset. (with pam on it for non stick)Teflon pans give off fumes when heated that get into your food and are toxic. We have gotten rid of anything with teflon. utensils included. Good luck.
p.s. this has been supported by numerous cases of workers in the teflon factories getting sick.

I use Circulon, which is a hard-anodized product (specially hardened so it will not chip) It is manufactured by Meyer Corporation. I have my original set, which will be 17 years old soon, plus other additional pieces I have added over the years. The original set was about $200. which seems like a lot of money, until I added up how many cheap sets I had to throw away in the previous years, due to staining, warping and chipping. Some of these sets were only a few months old, when I had to throw them away. I have added to my original set by finding sales on what is considered an introductory piece around the holidays and also by picking up pieces on sale at T.J. Maxx and Marshalls. You can even use them in an oven up to 400 degrees, which increases their versatility even more. They clean up really well and most people cannot tell the difference between my original 17 year old pieces and the newer ones; unless I show them the newer pieces. Happy cooking and have a good night!!

I use Le Creuset or Calphalon Commercial Hard-Anodized pots. They are not necessarily stick proof, but I prefer not using Teflon because pots/pans/skillets that are made of teflon does not season well making food not tastier.

Faberware works really well, but make sure you use silicon utensils. Also, you should still use a no-stick spray.
I've had mine for four years, no chips.

Calphalon, calphalon, calphalon. You can get it for a good price, too if you check your local Tuesday Morning store.
