Maybe it is because many do not know what a liberal is or not. As long as you are not willing to be a cow led by the nose by a horde of dim witted a** holes, you are a liberal? Because you don't like being lied to, you are a liberal? I am for the right to bare arms, marriage between man and woman, prayer in school(if you want to participate), banning Planned Parenthood. But I am also tired of the propaganda, spin and lies coming out of Washington. Seeing them try to play all ends against the middle. I am not one of those so scared that when the neocons say the boogie man is breaching the border I run like Chicken Little. And when they say "come with me if you want to live" I am so taken by it, that when they say drop your pants and bend over. I am too dumb to ask why or at least give me some lube.

What is propaganda to you, something you disagree with and have not heard on FOX news? I havent really seen that, I just see a bunch of questions, no one is forcing you to anwer or even read these questions, so what is your problem. By the way, I am very interested in the militqary and nobody tried to force propaganda on me. I see a lot of crap out there, but this is a free country.

The problem is far bigger than yahoo. The problem lies on both sides, Liberal and Conservatives are too busy name calling each other that they have forgotten that we are all AMERICANS! And we need to work together to keep this country strong. I spent 30 years in the Marines and have seen it all. I would never discourage anyone from joining the military, but I can understand why they would be. Why go fight for a country as divided as this one? I'll tell you why, because there are brave young men and women that understand it. And to them and all I have fought with to keep this country strong, God Bless You All. Semper Fi.

I'm a moderate and I think that both liberals and conservatives are full of sheiss. Both sides are guilty of childish name calling and distorting the issues. Liberals usually fight the wrong fight or believe that just because they don't believe in fighting you can talk bad people out of doing bad things. Conservatives on the other hand think that there is no problem we can't get rid of if we spend enough money or kill enough people. Both sides expend so much energy fighting each other that nothing ever gets done.

It's a website, there's nothing forced, don't read it or turn it off. If someone cant take the pressure of some liberals expressing their beliefs over the internet, then they certainly won't be able to take the pressure of some extremists giving them real pressure on the battlefield. Get over it.

Yahoo Answers isn't "about" anything except for encouraging a free exchange of knowledge.

It's individuals who come on here and spew their rhetoric. I guess they can't find an audience out there in the real world (surprise), so they come on here and regurgitate it.

When the Liberals got tired of the neocon's bullying tactics and dirty political tricks. Carl Rove and his squad of political hit men are no longer welcome in Washington DC. We don't care that he lies, cheats and steals well, not anymore. We just want him to go back to Texas.
It is time to get Bush and supporters out of town before they spend every dollar on one of the worst foreign policy mistakes in American history; Out of town before another person dies in this Iraq fiasco; and Out of town before the Middle East Wars of George W. Bush spread into regional warfare.

I'm liberal and a veteran. I have never actively discouraged anyone from joining or misrepresented my experience in any way. Maybe your sweeping generalization is off the mark.

Great question. What part of MILITARY do liberals not understand?
Oh yeah, all parts!!!

zclifton2 - you still do not get it, shut up! If it does not have to do with military, go to the goverment or whiner area.
