If it is at all possible, ask the persons forgiveness. Sometimes situations make it impossible to ask the person to forgive you!
I believe that God will forgive you even if you do not ask the person to forgive you.

God will forgive you for most things.........but don't you think it would be better to ask forgiveness from the person in question?

It depends on the offense. You should apologize if you feel
the need to. Or if the other person really needs to hear it.
God will forgive you, but the other person matters too.
And if they don't accept your apology, then you have a clear
concious. The rest is up to them.

God says if we dont forgive someone, He wont forgive us for our sins....so your forgiven of your sins if you ask God, but whether the other person is forgiven is up to him...is that confusing?...But i think you should still humble yourself to go ask the person for forgiveness, cuz God would want that :)
