if your doctor wont give you the answers you want then you need to go to and er and let them check your blood pressure. if youre having these spells more often than not, you may need to be on a medication that controls your blood pressure, dont play around with it. if you smoke, stop smoking, that only makes it worse, good luck

if you're diastolic (bottom number) is going over 90, you're hypertensive. Blood pressure can be less while lying, so this might be why you see a change in symptoms when you lie flat. Is the doctor monitoring your BP? Are you receiving any treatment? I'm not going to say anything for certain, but given your symptoms I'd be very worried of a stroke...
if your doctor won't listen - try another doctor, or try buying a digital BP monitor and take your BP every couple of hours for a few days and keep records of the readings - present those readings to your doc as sometimes readings can be different when a person is in the dr office (if certain triggers aren't present).

See a different doctor. The bottom number of your blood pressure should NOT be 90. That is too high.

Going to a doctor is expensive so I can understand your Mother's concern. Look for other symptoms like problems with balance and hearing. Keep a diary and show it to your Mother.

Only a doctor can help you; get a second opinion. There are other causes of dizzy spells such as vertigo which only a professional can diagnose.

kristina , go to see a doctor for a more thorough evaluation, it is pobably low blood pressure caused by lack of exercise and improper nutrition and probably skipping meals. It is dangerous and you should never fall sleep under those circumstances, have treatment asap.
