Because God is something that many religions have tried to "define". God expanse is infinite and unimaginable. A human mind is not fully capable of understanding all facets of God. Each answer will lead to many more questions exponentially.

That, my Dear, is exactly what religion should do. You should continually be looking into whys and wherefores of your own Faith. God is a huge Thing and can be the smallest and the largest all at the same time (see what I said about confusing?) No one religion is the "best". It's all up to what you want. what you feel comfortable with. I feel comfortable being with God out in the fields and the trees. Others find God in a church or a simple prayer. As long as you're doing good and being kind, to me you're already finding God. Keep looking, keep questioning.

Because you are trying to find answers. God doesn't give you answers. You have to find them yourself. "God helps those who help themselves"
Or, you have to stop looking for something that isn't there. The 'answers' which religion gives are answers to questions that they tell you to ask, not questions that come from rational investigation. The key phrase in the Old Testament is this one, "They must not eat from the tree of knowledge, for then they will become like us."
What kind of God would benefit from ignorant people? None. Only priests and kings and corporations benefit from control through ignorance. It's all marketing.

If you get enough of those answers, it might reveal to you that it's all interwoven like a fine tapestry. Each part placed at just the right part of the tapestry, connecting to things you had no idea existed.

There's a lot of knowledge and truth in scripture. If you want to look for them, and the path seems clear, follow it. You might not know where it's going, but when you get there it'll show you wonders you never expected.

Psalms 37:3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
4 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

It is so good that it leads you to another question. We should always question. The answer may be a question. Is it really an answer? There isn't a "right" answer. This is all in a compilation of information gathered. Keep asking questions which lead to other questions and chase your tail. However, it really isn't in a circle. You are chasing the truth. Take it all in and decide for yourself what the truth for you is.....

If you knew EVERYTHING about God, you would know everything He was thinking and how He worked. Then you would be equal to God. But we are not. So, we are always in the dark in some ways.

Therefore, we will always be in search of more truth about Him. This is a great blessing in that we always find new things to enlighten ourselves with. Discovery is the mind's entertainment.

It is the Holy Spirit working on you. It's kinda like the song,"The more I know Him the more I want Him". We are not going to get all our answers in this life, but some day when we get to Heaven we can ask God what we wanted to know. Isn't that wonderful?

My feeling is that, it's just another piece to your personal puzzle. GOD knows exactly what you need, and he's encouraging you to find the answers through scripture or other Christians. It's to help you grow in CHRIST. Hallsie

There should always be another step to take. Life is infinite, and growth should be infinite, too. You should start to worry about yourself if you ever get to the point where you believe what you believe with absolute certainty, and that what you believe is all there is to know about it.
