Do Born Again Christians and Fundametalist Muslims share the same fascist ideas? But they express it in different ways? any thoughts?

I hate to admit it but I see a lot more similarities between them than differences.

I think it has something to do with their both believing in a judgmental God.

They each share the same fantasy about their Gods. Both groups imagine that their God hates exactly as they hate and judges exactly as they judge. Isn't this convenient, if your goal is to have someone to feel better than?

We need to keep them in our prayers. And ask God to help them find the truth.

Love and blessings.

I am a born again christian, I received Jesus Christ as my personal Savior and because of that I am sure that I will go to heaven when I die. I want to tell others about the good news that Jesus Christ can save sinners and He claimed that He is the only way to heaven. But I always do this in love, and if the person doesn't accept Jesus Christ as his/her personal Savior, I will just let him/her be and entrust everything to God in prayer. This is called "free will." You can't and must not coerce a person into accepting Jesust Christ. Each individual must be free to choose his/her eternal destiny. If this is a fascist idea, then I'm guilty of being one.

I'd have to say no. Allowing prayer in school for those that want to is not the same as forcing people to pray to the same God or you're being killed. Not that I believe all Muslims are like that. Still Sharia law that forces women to cover themselves and doesn't allow them out after dark, is far more disturbing to me. The closest thing you get from Christians is their pro-life stance. Look at it from a femminist point of view and you'll see the difference.

No, no, absolutely not. Fundamentalist Christians are not running around shooting women in the head and cutting peoples' noses off. Christians stopped using coercion and torture after the Dark Ages, whereas the Fundamentalist Muslims are still living in the Dark Ages.

In the sense that they use their religious beliefs to define themselves, yes.

We all have a belief system. But we are not our belief system.

We are sentient creatures, aware (sometimes) of our capacity to make choices between Logic and Reason.

Those who insist that their belief system is accurate/absolute/infallible are deluded, of course, and are not taking advantage of their very own powers of logic.

The flat earth society eventually faded away.

A born returned Christian is while somebody makes a decision to alter their lifestyle and grow to be a non secular Christian. this suggests that they are going to be truthful to the Christian Church and faith, following it very heavily. maximum those that are "born returned" have had bothered lives previous to this alteration.
