Sorry, the body can't do that. You can have the tooth pulled or have a filling put in.
Good luck

Your body can repair a broken bone because a bone sits inside a fresh, constant supply of blood, not to mention it produces its own repair substance (marrow). Teeth on the other hand are mostly dead mineral deposits gorwing from a single thready nerve and blood vessel running through the root of the tooth. This is not enough to repair a cavity, because if it were, the cavity would probably not form in the first place.
In your case, taking the filling out and leaving a gaping hole in your tooth is an insane idea (no insult intended) unless you're REALLY into pain. Your body will definitely not be able to repair that gaping hole left by your dentist's drill meant to hold a filling. Removing the filling will expose the sensitive, soft inner core of your tooth, and it will become super-sensitive to EVERYTHING, not to mention, even the tiniest bit of food gets stuck in there (it's not just sugar that causes cavities) then you will just be countering your own intent, b/c that cavity will just get worse until you need a root canal or to just have the tooth removed.
Please, for your own sanity, just get the cavity drilled and re-filled, and make sure it's filled tightly enough that the cavity won't re-grow again like it did last time.... Think about it... a cavity under a filling, where it is protected from food, cold, heat, and everything else... won't fare any better by exposing it.

Sure sure. Your cavity is news for joy for the dentist.
He will drill you in the affected tooth with cavity, clean it out, then fill it up with some filler (Mercury usually). There is pain for gain.
Unfortuantely, you do not have a choice, except turning to the mercenary dentist. Look for a more gentle dentist with humane hands to softland your pain and suffering. Ask him what filler will last and how to ensure that it will not come loose from the cavity. This important question will obviate the need for further visit to the dentist with a long long wait.
And stop asking silly question. Rush to your dentist now after getting the direction, otherwise you will be in for more pain, and little gain.

No dentist will remove the cavity without replacing it. Your teeth cannot heal themselves as they're exposed to air. The constant exposure to air and the other contents of your mouth continue the decay, no matter how much you would like.
The bacteria eating your tooth will not give up just because you don't like the drill.

No it will only get worse. You teeth are the hardest thing on your body and made out of minerals. Have the cavity filled, crowned, root canal or extration. Waiting will only make it worse on the tooth and you(and pocket book).

Teeth constantly undergo demineralisation and remineralisation and it is when this balance tips in favour of demineralisation that cavities form. Once the surface is no longer intact there will be bacterial invasion of this site. Once you have a "cavity" your body cannot heal itself. Go and get it fixed.

No way, you will be in to much pain. And chances are you will end up with a crown which will cost you way more than a new filling. Suck it up be a man get it repaired!
