Good for you! This is an awesome job to have! Yes, I have been through cosmetology. Is it hard, not really. You do have to go through different parts of the body, namely the scalp, hair nails and such. There is a bit of anatomy that you will have to learn, but it should all come straight out of your books and workbooks. Don't worry! It's pretty simple. The hands on part is probably the hardest. You'll see pretty quick what you are good at doing. Don't be afraid to ask questions!!! Noone ever learns anything that way. If you need help, you can always get some from your instructor. Basically, your homework is going to be similar to taking a science class. Do your studying and you'll be fine! It'll be all worth it in the end! Good Luck Hun!

My cousin recently graduated from cosmetology school and she loved it. It was a challenge for her in the beginning with the new people and being unfamiliar with the whole situation. She got a really great job just three months after she graduated too so that's a plus. I'm sure you'll do just fine!! Good luck!
