I have 3 cats and i can't date a guy who hates cats.

I do! My husband likes them too, so it's all good. Neither of us are really dog people. I think dogs smell and I hate bathing them.

You betcha I love cats. Have three. Female 15 years called kiki and two male cats Tomcat and Billyboy. They are 11 and 6 years old. No I would`nt date a guy that did`nt like cats because you could not trust them when you left the room or were`nt there to see and protect them. It`s a good thing my husband loves cats and our two dashounds. We always laughed and stated if we were to do it over again we would not have kids just our pets... Though we love our grown kids too and grandkids and 3 great grandkids and they were taught at a early age how to be good to our pets and now they take good care of their own pets. I believe being around pets that they learned kindness and responsibility at a early age around us..

I do, I love all cats from big cats to domestic. I have 2 cats that live with my parents because I moved into an apartment, I miss them so much.

I love cats and I'm a guy. You shouldn't date a guy who doesn't like them. It says something about his character. Also, he might hurt or scare your cats when you're not around. Yeah, you should stick to cat-guys only. So where do you live and what do you look like?

I DO! I have a 12 1/2 yr old Siamese who is the light of my life.
Maybe you can comprimise with your guy???
Surely he can come around? If not, I don't see any hope for you.
Pets are like people to us who love them, some people donot
understand this. Why does he hate them?
There are so many reasons why we all should love cats!!!!
Tell him to grow up!

I used to have a cat. Loved her like she was my kid. Yea. Single mom. Mother of a 5/6 year old cat.... Interesting.
I can imagine a date like that.
Guy: So what's your life like?
Girl: Oh I live on my own (or w/ parents), and I take care of my kids.
Guy: You have kids?
Girl: Well they're cats, but they're like my kids.

Yeah, I now what you mean. I've ended relationships with men because they don't like cats. I mean, what if we were to get married? I would certainly not give up my cats.
BTW, mine are Blythe, Princess Buttercup, (11 year old female torties, litter mates) Dempsey (3 year old female orange tabby with socks and bib), and Tounces (1 year old male solid white with 1 blue and 1 green eye) All spayed and neutered.

I love cats. I don't have one now, but I have had 12 little buddies in my life time. And I miss them all.

I know what you mean. It is one of my criteria that iany man I date must love cats as much as I do. I won't settle for less. If a man doesn't love my cat then he doesn't love me. I have two cats. Their names are Moses and Striker. they are sweeties. Moses loves to cuddle with me and go to sleep. Striker loves to rub his head and face on my feet and lye on my feet and go to sleep.
