Buy some cleaning wipes. You can purchase them at your local pet store like petco, petsmart, or any other. You can even buy them at little stores like savon, food 4 less, vons, and Ralphs ETC. You can even check costco and you could find something useful for less or worth the value.

A good brushing will help remove dirt, especially when done regularly.

You can buy a "no-rinse" shampoo (usually purple or blue in color), scrub it into the coat and towel off.

You can give a "dry bath" by rubbing cornstarch or baby powder into the coat and brushing it out.

All of these are good in a pinch, but do not clean as well as a proper soap and water bath.

If you are wanting to freshing them up I tell you this is the best thing. Get a new dryer sheet and rub it all over them. It really works wonders and makes there hair soft.

They make a waterless shampoo that you spray on, rub in, and wipe off. Great for small smudges, but not for Big Jobs.
