fla chick- there is no spell check for questions, and they are mostly typos..I don't proof read. ALSO. Just because I want to be there for someone I care about doenst make me a weak person. I take care of my own problems when I have them, right now, I don't. take your negativity elswhere...I want ADVICE not bitterness.

Cook him his favorite meal and don't forget the desert.

Instead of wanting to do somthing major for him, it would be nice to chill with him. Let him know you are there for him and always will be by his side. They will mean much more then taking him to dinner or a picnic in the backyard. After you tell him that, thats when you do that picnic thing :)

At this point he will probably will want to unwind and not have to deal with a pressure filled relationship. So I would help him do that, do simple things that he enjoys. If he likes a certain tv show, watch it with him.

Good luck.

Like one person said: support him. He probably doesn't need material things but more of things that come from the heart. Bake him his favorite treat, write a list of things you love about him (or a list of inside jokes you've shared together), compliment him on his positive attributes, just listen to what he has to say about everything (when people talk it lets out a lot of steam they might be building up) and let him know you're always there for him!

Well just spending time with him should make loads off his chest maybe make him dinner or buy him a little something .Its the little things in life that show you really care.

Perhaps your name should be "missed advise"!!! You and he sound like hillbillies!!! You cannot write...you cannot spell....and you are being codependent. When you can focus on your own problems......then you can worry about someone else!
