get a large glass of water, lean forward, and drink from the opposite side of the glass. Your top lip will be on the farthest outside edge. As you drink, you will have to lean farther and farther forward, and eventually you will be almost upside down. Try to drink it continuously without stopping

Here is what you do. Take one of your hands and with the other hand pinch down in the meaty part of where your thumb and pointing finger meet up. It will be kind of thick there. you have to pinch fairly hard because there is a pressure point there. While you are doing this get some saliva in your mouth and swallow 3 times while holding your breath for about 30 seconds. Usually either the pressure point or the 3 times swallowing are enough each by themselves but since you have been hiccuping your eyeballs out do both at the same time.
I have used this for years and on many many people and it always works.

Breathe as deeply AND quickly as you can for about a minute. I've never had hiccups I couldn't get rid of like that. All hiccup cures have one thing in common -- to change your breathing pattern.

I know this sounds silly - but it usually works for me.
Find the little hollow on the base of your neck with your finger(right above your collar bone - in the center). Very lightly put a little pressure on that spot. Now, remove your finger, but concentrate as hard as you can on that spot - trying to recreate the feel of the pressure from your finger in your mind. Do this for a minute or two and your hiccups should be gone.

Go get a glass of water.
Stand up.
Put your mouth over the FAR (not near) side of the glass
(you'll need to lean over the glass to do this).
Try to drink from it by tipping the glass away from you.
Its pretty messy, but the concentration will generally
stop the hiccups.
If you've never performed the above and it still doesn't
work, you may actually want to go to the emergency room.
If you've used that "cure" before, it gets easier to do and
requires less concentration after awhile so it stops being
as effective.

Get a full glass of water. Have someone plug your ears for you. Drink the entire glass continuously (try not to stop for too many breaths!). This is a trick from my family that always seems to work. If it doesn't try the same thing, but try holding your breath while doing it.

The answere to the hiccups is simply a little concentrated prayer. If successful
you will know for sure, if not....just say Jesus I love you........ breath slow with love in your heart for world peace.

Ask someone to offer you a dollar for your next one, and make them mean it. My dad used to (and still does) do that for me, I could never, ever get another hiccup out after he offered!

Swallow seven times without breathing in between
Or hold your arms over your head and have someone put a glass of water up to your mouth so you can drink.
They both sound stupid but they work!

Okay, my best cure has never failed me. Take once mouthful of water and then hold breath while holding the water in your mouth. When you must take a breath first swallow the water, then breath. But wait to swallow until you must breath.
