Why do people cheat in general. I have never understood it...
And why do you think its ok?

People cheat cause they wanna shortcut to whatever they like or want, but in the end Good prevails.

Cheating stems from the most basic of animal instincts. Perpetuate the species. Since we do have the capability of thought, it is hard for us to accept that a guy or a girl could sleep with someone outside their own relationship. We all have the urge, but only the truly intelligent and mature of us fight the urge. Sometimes the urge is nothing more than a second glance, but it is there. I do not condone the act of cheating, but I do try to understand it more so I can be more effective at not doing it. So, let's just say that a person who cheats is not mature or intelligent enough to be in a relationship. OH, and I do not think it is OK.

I dont think its ok but i have a good idea why they do it. They cheat when they are not used to a commited relationship. They cheat when they aren't getting enough attention or if they arent getting satisfied at home. Some people just cheat because they think its just a fun, challenging game.

I think that there are several reasons that people cheat. Some people get bored with just one sexual partner, others like the thrill of trying not to get caught, others don't truely love their partner and others just have no morals at all. In any circumstance it's not right and no one should be put through the pain of being with a cheat.

I never cheated, but I was tempted to.
~Men cheat b/c women withhold sex as a weapon, or to get even for something.
~Men also don't want to go through the hassle of breaking up, get the other woman, then getting back together again.
~Men don't want to have a relationship with another woman, they just want 30 minutes of sex. Why buy a car, the insurance, the taxes, the interest, make payments, purchase an extended warranty when you only want to race around the block with it once? Get my drift?

People cheat because they only care about satisfying their own needs and not caring about the needs of other people. They may care for their gf/bf but there may be something missing that they think they can get from someone else. If they can get it without leaving the one they care about and no one knowing the better. It's all about being selfish and not caring about anyone else but themselves. But know that it is nothing that you did to cause it. I hope everything turns out for the best.

It's a form of cowardist -- too scared to take a risk on something new or too weak to make a smooth and mature exit from an existing relationship.
NO, cheating is not right.

I've never cheated on anything, from my bride to college exams. I don't get it either. I like looking at my self in the mirror every morning with respect.

women cheat because we don't get what we need at home , maybe he's always away,or don't appreciate you,or you love him but he sucks in bed. I know it's wrong but alot of people do it.you should just leave if your not happy there's a million other people out there ,some will treat you right.

people get hurt because of cheating an the person who cheated jus dont seem to understand what he / she did
they dont no that its not nice or that its a terrible thing to do
or that some relationships does not need that!

They cheat because they don't want to be with the person they're with, but they don't have the guts to just break it off. And it's NOT ok.
