You have done or not done something to piss your cat off, they'll even spray if a piece of furniture has been moved or removed, they are creatures of habit and don't like change. Find where the spray is and clean it with pine-sol, use 100% pure vanilla extract (a natural air freshener) to clean with and place drops throughout the house, hope this helps, it did for me.

Spraying is a territorial thing that male cats do out of instinct. Once they are mature enough to start, its hard to get them to stop, although neutering would be the best thing you could do for this cat, because then he wouldnt have any reason to spray.

You will NEVER remove the smell of cat urine. You need to throw whatever has been sprayed out!!!! I work in a cat shelter and we have tried it ALL!!!!!!!!!!!! If you think the smell is gone, the cat will tell you otherwise!!!!! They can still smell it and will keep spraying there!!!!!!
