You have a very lucky sister! It's nice that you want to cook for her.

How about this- buy a box of pasta, a jar of pesto or alfredo sauce, and some chicken breasts. Saute cut up piece of chicken, boil the pasta, add the sauce and toss really, really well.

Add some cheesy garlic bread from the freezer section or the pre-made garlic bread stick from Pillsbury in the refrigerated section of your supermarket and a nice salad and you've got a great, easy birthday meal.

The short response is :clams & linguini=pick up 2 cans of whole clams, 1 jar of alfredo sauce, 8 oz linguini. Boil the pasta, toss in the clams and sauce. Garnish w/fresh parsley and parmesian. chicken cutlets=thinly sliced chicken breast (or skinless thighs, etc) pounded thin (for fast cooking) Dredge in flour and fry in garlic/oil for 3 min on ea side. You can go to Germany (Veenerschnizel) by adding wine, shallots, and lemon slices, or Italy with chix parm by topping them w/mozarella. Let your imagination expand. Sheppards Pie= brown ground hamburger meat or (veal, lamb, or turkey) in a heavy skillet. Add onions until browned. Boil some potaotes and after whipping w/sour cream and chives, form the first layer on a 9 x 13 pan. Next add meat mixture. The final touch will be the sharp cheddar cheese. There are a cazillion things you can put together on a shoestring or even w/using leftovers, but first focus on what you both like and go in that direction. Whatever you cook/create: Do it with LOVE and you cannot fail. There are TNTC sources available, but if you EVER find yourself stumped, don't hesitate to ask me for assistance. GL

for desssert if she likes chocolate make her a chocolate cheesecak(get a oreo crust, a box of jello milk chocolate pudding, a container of french vanilla cool whip, and a pack of cream cheese. get the cool whip and cream sheese to room temp mix the cream cheese and half the cool whip in a blender until theyre smooth do the cream cheese a little bit before the cw or the whip will end up runny, layer it in the bottom of the oereo crust, mix the pudding for the pie directions on the box spread it over the top of the cream cheese mix then layer the extra cool whip over that and keep it in the fridge) a great dinner thats simple is spaghetti with homemade garlic bread and a nice salad. boil the water for the spaghetti first and add salt it gives the pasta flavor, a good spaghetti sauce is classico tomatoe and basil, always brown ground beef then add your sauce after the meat is browned and you drain off the excess grease, for mt garlic bread i get a loaf of french bread and cut it in half spread on butter then rub with fresh garlic or use galic powder, i cover it with fresh parmesan, feta, and blue cheese then bake it until it until the cheese turns golden, for salad just get a good salad mix i add boiled eggs finely chopped red onions green and black olives blue cheese crumbles and shredded cheese and chopped ham. i say the cheesecake instead of reegular cake because everyone gets cake and the cheesecake is cool and refreshing in summer heat. it should take about an hour to hour and half to do everything. if you like it and want to try but i confused you somewhere email me and ill help. good luck
